I got the name "Shank" from a friend, who when I first told him my name, said "Shaw ? Like... Shawshank Redemption ?" So I was called Shawshank, then it just became Shank...
I'm just someone who has always loved photography. I've been taking my own pictures for over the last 10 - 15 years. I'm a huge fan of sunsets.. So a lot of my pics reflect that. As well as my favorites. I TRULY appreciate every single favorite or comment that is given to any of my pics. I can't mean that anymore than I do. So.. Thank you SO MUCH in advance to all that do so. I also thank you for taking the time to read this.
I would also ask that IF you have the time to please browse through my favorites. I truly believe that I have gathered some of the most beautiful pictures in the world there. This site really is filled with so many talented people. I'm stunned everyday I'm on here, by the type of talent that can be found in 1 place. In all different types of art forms. Thanks again :)

Today I'm in a GREAT mood ! And no matter what...I wont let anyone or anything effect my happiness. This time next week I will have something that I have dreamed about for 13 years. I will be getting my own house ! Right now I'm living with people who used to be what I considered friends.. But now are enemies. They like to do immature shit to try and ruin everyone around them. As they say, misery loves company. Well... I wont let them get to me this week. Fuck em ! :D
